Dear Spring Trainer,
Welcome to the 22nd Annual Mountainwest Baseball’s Spring Training! One of only a few events nation wide that attract the attention of: USA baseball, The Major League Scouting bureau, Professional Scouts, Area Code Baseball and College Coaches. You will find enclosed a schedule of events for the entire weekend, and a map to tell you how to get there. Make sure you study it before-hand and get to your station on time so we can keep everything running smoothly.
While inMesquite:
The people at both the high school and the city have been great to us over the years. It is very important that we extend them the same courtesy. Please make sure that you do not go in the school with your spikes on, and that you throw all your trash in a trash can. Your cooperation will be greatly appreciated.
For Your Information:

- We are on Pacific Time orNevadatime.
- Find your name on the Spring Training list. That will tell you what group you are in.
- Check in Saturday morning 15 minutes early at your first station.
- T-shirts will be available Fri atPioneerParkfrom 5:00pm to 7:00 pm and Sat at 7:00 am at the high school gym.
- 12 and under division – T-shirt’s will be at your station on Saturday morning.
- Players will not be allowed on the field without their Spring Training shirt on.
- Orientation Field 5, Saturday 7:45 in the high school Auditorium.
- Bring Turf shoes as well as spikes for portable pitching mounds and rubber hitting stations.
- All SPARQ testing and training will be held atHunterSportsPark.
- All defensive stations for 2014 & 2015 will be atPioneerPark.
10. Scout team opportunities: There will once again be an additional evaluation for a player wishing to get involved in scout team events like USA Baseball, AZ Classics, Perfect Game, Northwest Championships, top player etc…The 14U workout will be held Saturday 5pm at Hunter Park, the 16U will be held on Sunday 6:30pm at Pioneer Park. Juniors and Seniors will be evaluated in their regular groups during the day.
What to Bring:
The temperature inMesquiteranges anywhere from 45 to 75 degrees this time of year. Make sure you are prepared for all conditions including rain. Should the weather get real bad we will provide the same instruction indoors. If you have any questions, check the trailer located atPioneerPark. Make sure you have baseball pants, no shorts
Parents:
You are welcome and encouraged to observe at all of the stations you would like. Please make sure you attend the orientation on Saturday morning 7:45 am in the high school gymnasium.
12 and under Division:
The twelve and under division will meet at the Rec center fields. The fields are located just south of the Old Mesquite Star (field 6). Be there at 9:00 Sat morning for orientation.

You can get your own locker opened by purchasing one of the analysis products below. Once your video is loaded it will remain live for 30 days. When the 30 days are up you may keep your locker live by purchasing a one year membership.
We offer this service to our members at our cost of $5.00 per month (one year commitment) and to non-members for $10.00 a month (same one year commitment). See below for the cost to have one of our bio-mechanist add video content to your locker.
