The MountainWest Prospect Games are the top evaluation event for the Baseball Academy and provides the best way for players to also be selected for the other MountainWest and Academy top player programs. Some of those programs include USA Baseball Junior Olympic teams, USA Baseball National Team Identification Series, fall scout teams, Arizona Fall Classic teams, Perfect Game WWBA teams and the Northwest Championships as well as the top 40 list. Players participating in these events will annually put their skills to the test in front of five hundred college recruiters and professional scouts.
The MountainWest Prospect Game participants are chosen by the coaches of the teams who participate in the MountainWest summer league. All Prospect Game participants are chosen out of the MountainWest summer league and MountainWest Championships.
