This year, I have been chosen to play on a select traveling baseball team. This is a very talented team of dedicated all-stars from all over the MountainWest region. The MountainWest Baseball program is one of the most competitive and most recognized youth baseball organizations in the country. We now have teams from 14-17 years old. Over 90% of all players who continue through this program play college baseball on scholarship or get drafted into the professional ranks. The success of the MountainWest Baseball program is directly related to our teams playing in select high quality tournaments and playing only the best competition. We will be traveling to many tournaments this year against the best competition in the country. Although our parents pay a participation fee, each player is asked to find sponsors for our team from friends and people our families do business with. On behalf of my MountainWest Baseball team, I would like to ask you to join us as a sponsor. It is important that you understand why funds are required. A team participation fee has to be paid for every tournament. We have to provide our own uniforms, hats, helmets, and other miscellaneous expenses such as umpire and professional coaching fees, etc. We pay to rent the fields and pay for field upkeep. Unfortunately, we do not receive any funding from the local municipalities or from any other organization. It is the players’ responsibility to find sponsors who will help to give us a chance to continue to enhance our skills to be able to play at the college level or higher. Your sponsorship will be recognized as either an advertisement or thank you in our MountainWest Baseball Media Guide. The Media Guide will be sent to the coaching staffs of every university and college with a baseball program, every Major League team, and all of the various scouting organizations. We have five official sponsorship levels but other amounts would be welcomed as well. The sponsorship levels are as follows:
1 Single $50.00
2 Double $100.00
3 Triple $250.00
4 Home Run $500.00
5 Grand Slam $1,000.00
Please note that any other amount would be welcomed and greatly appreciated.
A donation at this time would allow you or your business to take a deduction for the tax year. All checks are to be made payable to “MountainWest Baseball” and will be greatly appreciated.
