The Baseball Academy “Scout” team program is the most unique and exclusive program for the top high players in the MountainWest.
In the 25th season for 2009 this program provides top high school players additional development and exposure to college coaches and professional scouts in the summer and fall that cannot be duplicated anywhere in the Mountain West.
There are currently seven scout teams operating out of the Baseball Academy. Two senior teams two junior teams and three underclassmen teams (9th & 10th Graders)
For 25 years now we have prided ourselves on providing the very best in baseball instruction. We acquired Bio-Kinetic Research and Development in the early nineties and have been performing motion analysis work for dozens of Major League organizations every since. We were also selected by the American Baseball Coaches Association to lead a team of scientist and coaches in a three year Major League study on how the best in baseball pitch and hit. Our instructors and coaching staffs include ABCA National Coaches of the Year, College coaching hall a famers, and several others who are among some of the most respected baseball people in the country.
We have prided ourselves on our programs which for 25 years have given MountainWest players exposure to college recruiters and professional scouts. We have been attending all of the top baseball showcases in the country (two of which we started) for that same 25 years. We are still the exclusive invitees for most of the Nation’s top baseball showcases and we were recently chosen by USA Baseball to represent the MountainWest area for all three National Team Identification Series events. Those states include Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, and Utah. Over a thousand former program participants have gone on to play in college and more than two hundred have been drafted by major league organizations.
