Alumni Camp Dec 22nd & 23rd
2010 will be our 26th year for the Baseball Academy. The Academy ran its first event in the summer of 1984. Known only as the Utah Baseball Academy in the early days; we have expanded in recent years and are now known regionally as MountainWest Baseball, running programs for USA Baseball in six western states.
Since 1984 hundreds of the Academy’s former participants have been drafted by Major League teams, and thousands have gone on to play in College. Alumni Camp is fundraising events to raise money for player who may not be able to afford the opportunities that some of our past participants have had in order to get them where they are today. We have asked some of our more notable past participants back to volunteer their time for what is sure to be one of our best camps ever. Below are some of our alumni who volunteered their time in last year’s event.
